Moss Cottage is less than 10 minutes from the very hip and cool town of Halifax, recently described as “the Shoreditch of the North” in The Guardian, and is only 30 minutes from Leeds. Both Halifax and Leeds are great places if you want to have an afternoon or evening out.

Originally 3 cottages that were combined into one house in the 90s then the barn at the end has been converted into a leisure complex with heated indoor pool and a hot-tub on the terrace outside accessed through French windows. There is a walk-in shower next to the pool. Above the pool is a fantastic chill out zone with karaoke and cinema screen projector with Netflix, Amazon Prime and Sky TV.

You enter the house into a large hall area that also has a dining table for 16 plus a lovely, sunny bay window with 2 settees. From here you can go into the lounge has French windows that open onto a south-facing terrace overlooking half an acre of lawn and gardens surrounded by mature trees and countryside and the Calder Valley hills in the distance. Then the large galley kitchen at the back has all you need to prepare meals during your stay.

Upstairs there are 5 bedrooms sleeping a total of 16. Two bedrooms are ensuite plus there is a family bathroom. There is also a shower in the pool area.

All the big supermarkets are less than 15 minutes’ drive away plus Morrisons is just a 5 minute walk.
